Bill Sathrum created High Edge Studio at the Hohenegg farm in Kitzbühel, Austria in 2008 to compose and produce music for immersive media, advertising, and cinematic work — blending and matching traditional instruments with electronic and experimental sound design. Not reinventing the wheel, but thinking outside the box.
Artists including Haddaway, Christelle Constantin, Chris Black, and various voiceover artists are regular clients at High Edge Studio for clean vocal and speech recording.
Post-production services include editing, mixing, and mastering for corporate and artist projects.
Specialized work includes music placement editing for TV series and audio prep for one-off lathe-cut vinyl.

High Edge is built around a modern analogue-to-digital-to-analogue workflow.
Studio instruments include drums, upright piano, baby grand, acoustic and electric guitars, folk instruments and global percussion. A growing roster of professional session players — cello, brass, woodwinds, specialized guitarists, pianists — are on call when needed.
Signals run through clean pres and converters from Universal Audio and Audient with Focal professional monitoring, keeping sessions fast, flexible and sonically uncompromising.
